2025

Mysteriously silent

Miras began the year by receiving two platinum awards at the Turan Media Awards, a private industry event organized by the Turan Media production house, for his songs “Zymyran” and “Shyda”.

Afterwards, he filmed a music video in late January with b1r.production and director Shokangoo, who had already directed two of his music videos in 2024. Later, he traveled to Turkey alongside director Baurzhan Sadu for a more stripped-down and intimate shoot.

Following this, Miras became unusually discreet on social media for nearly a month, after his friend Adil Baltabaev shared an Instagram story showing him wearing a bandana and a beret.
This appearance sparked speculation that Miras had shaved his head.

A 9-year-old song

At the end of February, Miras released one of his most personal songs to date: “Son”. Written nine years earlier by Mona Songz, the song had first been performed live during his debut concert in 2022, with its official release deliberately postponed until this moment. The accompanying music video was filmed during his stay in Turkey.

Hello, World (Again)

It was also in March that Miras reappeared as suddenly as he had disappeared a month earlier. Still wearing the bandana and beret, he introduced his brand-new studio and soon began teasing the early stages of a new song.

In April, a new song titled “Sagyndyn Ba?” was unveiled. It was at this point that it became clear that two music videos had been filmed during the earlier trip to Turkey.

On May 5, Miras appeared alongside Turar and Kalifarniya in an episode of Kyzyk Times. During the show, he revealed that many people — including fellow artists — had once told him to stop singing when he was still part of the Zhugunussov Brothers. In contrast, Miras shared that the singer Dos had always supported him and believed in his vocal talent.

That’s life

In June, Miras was scheduled to perform in Atyrau alongside Qanay, but the concert was unexpectedly canceled. After waiting for several hours, the audience was informed that the event could not take place due to unpaid venue and equipment rental fees by the organizers. Miras and Qanay personally addressed the crowd to explain the situation and apologize.

That same month, a new song titled “Bàri Uaqytsha”
was teased but remained unreleased.

Conveying pure romance

In July, following a short vacation in the Maldives, behind-the-scenes images from the filming of the music video for “Sen Gana” — a song announced earlier in the year — were revealed, once again with Baurzhan Sadu behind the camera. For this project, Miras shared the screen with Anel Kenzhebekova, a Kazakh influencer with over 700,000 followers on TikTok. He later revealed that he composed the song with inspiration drawn from the Korean drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”

Dreams come true…

On July 4, his long-awaited concert at Central Stadium in Almaty was officially announced, after Miras had mentioned it several times and openly expressed his wish for this dream to come true.

Around the same time, Dizzy — a local energy drink brand for which Miras had been chosen as an ambassador — became the official sponsor of his tour.

A dedicated song and music video were also released as part of this collaboration. The tour was scheduled across several major cities in Kazakhstan, including Qyzylorda, Shymkent, Aktobe, Oral, Atyrau, and Qaragandy.

In July, he also appeared on the lineup for Jastar Energy – Open Air 2025 in Astana. Although he was initially scheduled to perform on the smaller of the event’s two stages, he surprised the audience that evening by also appearing on the main stage to close the show with several of his most popular songs. This performance also marked his return to the stage with his hair fully uncovered

In August, Miras and his team announced that the concert scheduled for September 7 at Central Stadium had to be postponed to an unspecified date. While the precise reasons were not disclosed, the concert eventually took place on October 11. Despite the cold, the three-hour show featured an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Kalifarniya, Turar, Alem (Ninety One), Kazybek Kuraiysh, Qanay, and DE LACURE. This is how his long-awaited dream came true.

Always on stage

Later in the year, Miras continued to appear on major stages. On November 16, he performed at Xareket Fest at Almaty Arena alongside artists such as Raim and 6ellucci. On November 30, he returned to the Zymyran Forum, held in Almaty, an event initiated and organized by his mother, Ainur Zhugunussova, dedicated to personal growth, spirituality, and creative expression. Having already performed at the forum’s first edition in Astana in 2024, Miras took part once again in 2025, while his younger brother, Muhammedali, also performed during the event. The year concluded on December 2 with Miras appearing at Posvyashchenie 2025 at Almaty Arena alongside artists including IL’HAN and Gazizkhan.

Secret from the stars

Early August, in response to a wave of confusion after some listeners mistakenly associated his brother’s controversial remarks with Miras himself, he expressed his support for women: “Let’s support, protect, and uplift women! Don’t think that everyone is the same because of one person’s actions.”
The misunderstanding followed a video that went viral on social media, showing a woman being harassed by a suspicious man in a mosque.

The night before the concert at Almaty Central Stadium, after rehearsals, Miras admitted that he cried — overwhelmed by the realization that thirty thousand people had come, from near and far, just for him.
